Mixing religion with politics, much?

So now a Christian group called “Love Singapore” says “Honour God by honouring Lee Kuan Yew”.

Not to mention, just some days ago, Lee Hsien Loong was at this big, gigantic Christian conglomeration at the National Stadium which even my Christian friend says was way out of line and diving too much into ‘interfering religion with politics’. After all, it was the first time any politician in Singapore ever did that.

What is Singapore coming to? I am reminded that “Mixing church and state” is a Fascist attribute, no less.

Gone are the days of stringent separation, strict secularism, that although uncomfortably sterile, at least ensured fairness and neutrality.

Now LHL can even warn us against a “Godless society”. What has his father taught him?
